Belbroughton Autumn Wedding

Morning all, though today I’d share with you another wedding where I was second shooter.  I’m really honoured to have been able to keep the images that I took that day to build up my own portfolio so a big thanks photographer Dave Nunn!  I really enjoy second shooting and I gain a lot of knowledge, on the job training and learn something new every time!  I believe it’s essential, if you’ve set your heart on becoming a full time professional wedding photographer.

A little about this country village wedding.   Alan and Jayne were married at the Holy Trinity Church in the quaint village of Belbroughton, Worcestershire.  After the wedding followed a reception at the nearby pub, The Talbot Arms.  A very beautiful wedding where we got lucky with the weather as it had been raining right up to the point where the bride walked to the church!  Yay, she stayed lovely and dry and I was able to capture some beautiful images en-route to documenting her journey every step of the way.   Jayne looked absolutely stunning in her lace drop back wedding dress.  I loved the little rose buds in her hair!  All the guests walked from the church to the venue just down the road.  I was again fortunate to document this in a lovely candid way.  I do love the reportage/documentary style of wedding photography.  Each photo tells its own story and I hope you love the images – just a select few from the day! A truly lovely couple!  Look out for the not so traditional wedding cake!
